10 Nov How to manage intergenerational diversity through EFR
Yesterday, Mc LEHM participated in the seminar entitled, How to manage intergenerational diversity through EFR, organised by the Fundación Masfamilia, at the headquarters of the Fundación Botín in Madrid.
Director of Human Capital Compensation, Enrique Arce, escorted us on a tour of the different generations currently coexisting in Spain: Veterans (born before 1953), Baby-Boomers (born between 1954 and 1969), gen-X (born between 1970 and 1983), gen-Y (born between 1984 and 1989) and gen-Z (born after 1990).
Based on the premise that diversity is always enriching, Arce explained the differences between the various generations with regard to their approach to work, their expectations, and their lifestyle preferences. In this scenario, companies must respond consistently with ad-hoc reconciliation measures.
As an EFR company, Mc LEHM took note of the developments discussed and returned laden with ideas about EFR measures on generational diversity to study and implement, as appropriate, in its catalogue.
